Data we collect
We only collect what is necessary:
- Image check-up and Day One eligibility: your answers to the questionnaire, your name, your company, your professional email address and, if you provide it, your telephone number.
- Booking a call: the information entered in the booking tool (name, email, time slot), processed by our supplier Cal.com.
- Communications: the emails and calls you address to us.
- Client area: for our clients, the account data and files delivered in their Day client area.
- Browsing: only with your consent, audience and campaign data via the cookies described below.
Cookies and measurement tools
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, refuse or choose non-essential cookies. No measurement or advertising tool is loaded before you choose, and refusing has no effect on your browsing. Three categories:
- Necessary: remembering your cookie choice and display preferences, in your browser only. No transmission.
- Statistics: Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) measures site traffic: page views, origin, device type. Truncated IP addresses, aggregated data, retained for 14 months.
- Marketing: Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) and Google Ads measure the effectiveness of our campaigns on Instagram, Facebook and Google and allow relevant ads to be shown to you. These tools may link your visit to your Meta or Google account. Retention: from 90 days to 2 years depending on the cookie.
You can change your choice at any time: manage my cookies. Google and Meta process some data in the United States; both are certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the Federal Council as ensuring an adequate level of protection.
Why we use your data
To respond to your request, prepare a meeting or a proposal, carry out our assignments and, if you are a client, give you access to your deliverables. With your consent, to measure site audience and the effectiveness of our campaigns. We do not send a newsletter and never disclose your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
Retention period
Data from an image check-up or a contact request is kept for a maximum of twelve months if no business relationship results. Contractual data is kept for ten years, in accordance with Swiss accounting obligations (Art. 958f CO).
Suppliers and transfers
We work with suppliers who process certain data on our behalf: website hosting and storage in Switzerland (Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva), booking tool (Cal.com, United States, data transferred under appropriate contractual safeguards), measurement and advertising tools subject to your consent (Google, Meta, see above), YouTube video player in enhanced privacy mode (Google, loaded only when you start a film). Each is bound by confidentiality.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, or object to its processing. Simply write to contact@day.swiss. We reply within 30 days. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Photographs and films
As part of our assignments, we photograph and film people. Their image rights are respected: the use of images is defined by contract with the client, and anyone photographed may ask us for details or for an image of them to be removed.
