Festival · Official photographers since 2021
Four days, seven sides to cover, and every photo sent to the artists for approval before the night is over.

The context
Four days by the lake, thousands of festival-goers, artists, partners and volunteers. A festival is more than a stage: you have to show everything, and fast, because every photo of an artist has to be approved before it goes out.
What we do
A photo and video team on site from early afternoon until the middle of the night. Seven sides covered every day, sorting and retouching on the spot, everything sent for approval the same evening. And since 2026, reels for the artists.
The result
Our approach
The festival wants to publish while it is happening. The artists want to approve first. In between, there is one night.
What we set up
Official photographers since 2021, we have learned where to be, at what time, and how to deliver without spending the night on it.
The venue before opening, the crews during set-up, the artists before their set. Nobody chases after images.
Selecting and retouching between two concerts, not at the end of the night. At 500 or 1,000 photos per photographer over a weekend, it is the only way to keep up.
Every series goes to the artist or their management during the night. The festival publishes as soon as it is approved.
Two photographers until 2025. In 2026, four photographers and a videographer: more sides covered, reels for the artists, and shorter nights.
A typical day
From the doors opening to the last series sent, every hour has its subject.
The empty site, the stage, the light on the lake. The images that set the scene for all of the festival's communication.

Volunteers, technicians, bar, security. They deserve their images, and the festival needs them to recruit the following year.

The kitchens, the counters, the partners. Images they happily reuse on their own social media.

The arrival, groups of friends, the smiles. They are the ones who sell the next edition.

Before or after the set, away from the crowd. A posed portrait that the artist wants to share.

The first songs from the foot of the stage, then the crowd seen from the stage. The moment everyone is waiting for, and that you cannot miss.

The images that sum up an edition in a single photo. The ones we bring out again the following year to announce it.

Sort, retouch, send. Every series goes out for approval during the night, so the festival can publish as soon as it has the go-ahead.
Sent for approval, the same evening.
Video · New in 2026
In 2026, a videographer joins the team. The concerts also go out as reels, edited for the artists' and the festival's social media.
Until 2025, there were two of us, and nights often ended around 5am. In 2026, we doubled the photo team and added video: more sides covered, and the last series sent much earlier. The film tells the story of a day from the inside.
A garage, a figure of Fribourg hockey: a campaign that speaks to the region.
